Sweetdram's Whisky Amaro is made with a blend of Scotch single malt and single grain, infused with nine botanicals, including allspice, hibiscus, coriander, lovage, kola, quassia, rhubarb, lemon and lingonberry. The whisky base is a blend of Ardmore single malt drawn from first fill bourbon casks, North British single grain drawn from virgin oak casks and Invergordon single malt drawn from refill sherry casks. The mixture is sweetened with a blend of blossom honey from Sussex and local urban honey from rooftop hives in Edinburgh. With their effortlessly cool art deco-style packaging, what's not to like?
Gentle peat influence with creamy vanilla, chocolate and soft citrus fruit alongside cereal notes and rich aromas of frankincense.
if you fancy a twist to your negroni, switch out the camapri and slot this in. Its a subtle smokey heaven.
One of my favourites. Not for everybody but I certainly enjoy the strong flavour.
Seen this on BBC, Cliff Richard liked it!!! Was worried after seeing the bad review below but glad I purchased this to try. This drink is very complex, perhaps too complex if you prefer a Bells whisky..... Rant over, this is Scotland’s first Whisky Amaro (maybe the worlds first) and I’m very, very impressed.
Stunned by the bad review below. Can only presume it was written by the sort of person who still drinks Jack & Coke and thinks there are only 2 types of wines in the world: red or white. If you're an actual adult, have a half decent palate and enjoy really interesting drinks then this stuff will be right up your street. I stir mine down over ice and sip it like a negroni. Can't beat it.
This is how you can ruin, even the worst Whisky. Hardly smells like you are chewing cloves! Even for sort of an "Amaro" smells just wrong.
