An Amalfi lemon liqueur from the Amalfi coast, famous for its lemons! The recipe dates back to Don Staibano's first creation in 1932, made with the finest Amalfi lemon peel, grain spirit, milk and sugar without additives or preservatives. Serve over ice, with the Staibano family also recommending adding a basil leaf as a garnish.

Having recently met the grandson of the founder of the company and inventor of the liqueurs I'm sure he wouldn't like the title of the review! This is a creamy lemon delight that surpasses limoncello, which is no mean feat. The value is fantastic, but the fluid is addictive. Lovely with dessert or on its own I cannot speak more highly of this Italian treat. I'm a great whisky fan too, so not really a sweet drink fan, but give it a try.
