“This is not the regular smooth, sweet 37% Southern Comfort with extra whiskey kick. I don't know if the recipe is slightly different or if it's simply down to the 50% alcohol content, but the 100 Proof is lacking much of that slightly medicinal taste of the regular SC, and in its place is (unsurprisingly) more warmth and kick but also more grain whiskey hints and spice flavours. It's also incredibly smooth for 50% by volume, meaning it can be drank with just ice or even neat (if you're brave).”

Creamy vanilla and fresh peach. A light kick of spice comes from the bumped-up ABV, joined by a touch of lime zest.
