Kronan Swedish Punsch Bottling Note
If someone offers you a Kronan Swedish Punsch, it's not a trick where they get to punch you if you say yes (like if someone were to offer you a knuckle sandwich). They're actually offering you a fantastic traditional Swedish drink made with sugar cane spirits and spices, so they're really being rather nice to you.
Though Swedish Punsch was very popular during the 1800s when it reached America, it disappeared from the market around the time of Prohibition. Luckily, it's made its way back into our arms and back into our glasses! Hooray!!!
Fantastic served neat and heated up, Kronan Swedish Punsch is full-bodied and packed with notes of caramelised sugar, leather and a delightful hint of smoke. It also can be used to add a complex richness to cool cocktails, pairing well with lively fruit flavours.
