Description

Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto is an Italian liqueur based around the brilliance of bergamot! By combining Italian bergamot alongside a selection of other tasty botanicals including chamomile, lavender, Melissa balm and more, the producers have made a tipple excellent for enjoying on toasty evenings in the summer. Enjoy over ice, or splashed in a glass of Prosecco.

Revelation

I absolutely love making cocktails with this stuff. It's a bit cloying for me to drink neat, but I'm not marking it down for that because I think if you changed that it wouldn't be as fun to mix. Iced teas and bright summery cocktails are perfect here. I particularly like to mix it with Limoncello and Peychauds bitters to go the summery route.

Delicious

As an earl grey tea lover, I’ve wanted to try this for a while and it didn’t disappoint. I had anticipated that it would be bitter, like the strong citrus you often get with tea. However, this was sweet enough to drink neat and tastes fantastic as an addition in a long drink. It has a light honey like taste but also hits of pepper similar to coriander. I will definitely be buying another bottle.

Great replacement of Cointreau

Try to mix Italicus in a margarita. The floral notes of bergamot and lavender work so well with tequila.

Should be better known

Something a bit different, very fresh and summery. Try it in a Negroni bianco for your summer cocktail.
