Grand Marnier Bottling Note

The iconic signature expression from Grand Marnier, Cordon Rouge is a superb orange liqueur made with fine Cognac sourced from the region’s various crus, flavoured with the bitter essence of wild oranges. The blend is also matured in large oak vats for six months before it’s bottled, allowing the liquid the marry. It was created in 1880, and Cordon Rouge literally translates to ‘red ribbon’, so you can easily identify your favourite dumpy bottle. A timeless staple for the home bar.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Bitter orange and sweeter orange zest bursts onto the palate, with Cognac in strong support, followed by orange marmalade and toffee, with bitter orange returning for the finish.
