The aperitivo can sometimes overshadow a meal altogether. The Nardini il Bitter has been the culprit of many hours sat at the table, casually forgetting about dinner and just enjoying the bitter-sweet drink with friends. Oranges, rhubarb and herbs merge together to make a wonderfully distracting pre-dinner treat. It certainly beats garlic bread.
