We love Chartreuse. I mean, you can't make a delicious Last Word without Chartreuse, can you? This special release from 2005 pays tribute to the original recipe, passed to Charthusian monks in 1605. This recipe for an 'elixir of life' is said to have been ancient when they received it some 400 years ago, and calls for over 130 ingredients! Good enough to enjoy neat or over ice.
Incredibly fresh with notes of mint, basil, aniseed. Vegetal, herbal intensity is expertly balanced by sweetness.
