Amaro di Angostura Reviews

Angostura Bitters goes Large!

I have tried a Trinidad Sour before, 1 1/2 oz of Angostura Bitters, rye and Orgeat, and loved it so was really intrigued to try this out.
I have to say this is a truly taste defying amaro - it has all the bitterness but with a underlying sweet. If you like their bitters then this is a no brainer it has a bit of everything - will have to try a few more to fully understand all the flavours.

Oh and there is an app from Angostura to help you select the cocktails you make.
May have to buy another bottle whilst in stock

Unique, non-abbrasive, multi-dimentional. Signature Angostura - Modern Classic?

Something about it just keep coming back to - and I can't quite put my finger on why I like it so much.
I can never go back to another Liqueur because they're either too abrasive, too menthol or spice heavy.

This is sweet & spicy but doesn't overburden your senses, and is far from one dimensional. It's interesting
in that Angostura Bitters is the base of this product - but a much more palatable, thicker version of it.
The spirit to me is silky all the way through, with all the signature aromas of the mother brand
- all the complexity is there.

This is defiantly a spirit for a more mature and refined drinkers pallet -
which may be the best and worst part about it,
your taste-buds will thank you, but will your wallet?
