Inspired by York's historical connections to the Roman era, the folks behind York Gin have created a Roman Fruit-flavoured variation of its flagship expression! It's made with a tea infusion of fruits (and a particular flower) associated with the Romans, including strawberry, apple and hibiscus.
Juicy red fruit notes are up-front and lively, but the earthy gin-based elements stay in control throughout.
Went to York in March - love this gin just finished it. Best fruit gin I have tasted for a long will be ordering more.
I hate sweet gins. This has no added sugar. It is fruity and not overpowering.
Excellent gin. Full of flavour and lovely taste
Many fruit gins are too sweet for my palate. I don’t think juniper and sweetness are comfortable bed fellows. Not so with this lovely gin. It retains all of a London Dry’s juniper-led taste with the interesting notes of berries and hibiscus. Well done!
A delicious dry gin that has a subtle berry taste that doesn’t overpower the quality of the gin itself.
