Wild Island Distiller's Cut - Underwood
For Wild Island's Distiller's Cut series, it decided to enlist the help of world renowned Langley Distillery's master distiller, Rob Dorsett. The limited edition series features the in-season flora from the island. This here is the third batch, produced in February 2019, and the gin spent a year in an oak hogshead that previously contained whisky from Islay.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Rich, almost syrupy notes of orange, accompanied by warming spice and sweet liquorice, fading into a clean and fresh finish.
