Description
An organic gin that's the result of a partnership between The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and the makers of the rather tasty Dodd's Gin (The London Distillery Company). Foraged seasonal flora from the world famous and internationally important Kew Gardens (how cool is that???) and other organic botanicals from around the world are distilled in Christina, a 140 litre copper pot still at Dodd's Gin's Battersea home. Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Aptly floral for a gin made in partnership with Kew Garden (considering the multitude of flowers present within the garden walls), joined by hints of dried orange and earthy beansprouts.
Palate
Cloudy lemonade, rose petal jam and thyme. Juniper is soft though spicy, leading to some fresh ginger heat.
Finish
Very slightly honeyed, though well balanced by warming black pepper notes.
