“Best Gin in the World SFWSC 2017 and yes, what a great gin. The botanicals and flavours that can sometimes be lost in the regular 'Blue' Tarquins are all here. The violets jump out, the orange citrus beautifully forward. Supped on ice from a 50ml taster with a can of FT light and it was beautiful and elegant with lifted power. Now selling like hot cakes in Kernow despite the 57% strength. We can't get enough of it.”

Tarquin's The Seadog Navy Strength

Southwestern Distillery's excellent Tarquin's Gin bottled at 57% abv! Orris root, green cardamom seeds, cinnamon and violets are all used and the gin is distilled in Tamara, their copper pot still named after the goddess of the Tamar.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Spicy juniper and cardamom with sweet, fragrant citrus and pine, sweet almond.

Palate

Fragrant and fresh, rounded notes from the nose, black pepper warmth.

Finish

Big, spicy and drying.

Overall

A fantastic gin for all you salty seadogs and land lubbers alike! Excellent in cocktails.
