A barrel-aged, navy strength expression of An Dúlamán from Sliabh Liag Distillers! This particular bottling has quite the history. Its name comes from La Duquesa Santa Ana, an Andalusian ship which was lost off the coast of Loughros Mor, Ardara in Ireland, in Philip II’s unfortunate Spanish Armada’s attempt to invade England in 1588. The gin has been aged in Rioja wine casks from the home region of the Santa Ana’s commander before it was bottled at a healthy 57% ABV.
Salty maritime notes come through alongside warming spices and peppery juniper, with a touch of anise, juicy berry notes from the cask and a rich, orange peel finish.

Great, strong gin. Keeps all the subtle flavours of original Dúlamán, with and extra the barrels bring. A stunning drop!
This is a nice smooth gin but be careful it is 57% Really really liked it. The bottle lasted 3 evenings (between 2 of us!!)
