Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Enjoyably savoury, with vegetal juniper bringing a hint of heat. Subtle lemon sweetness alongside sea salt and roast chestnut.

An Dúlamán Irish Maritime Gin Reviews

Oh I do like to be...

I bought a sample of this to try, and I'll definitely be back for a full-size bottle. Some 'sea' flavour gins are juniper-with-a-hint-of-seaside, but this is the real deal. It's a proper coastal gin, dry and salty, with a lovely iodine tang. It reminds me of Archangel (astrigent) or Dà Mhìle (strong seaweed flavour). If you don't like Dà Mhìle you won't like this, but if you do then this is at least as good, if not a tiny bit better. I'll need to drink some more to be sure!

Great taste

We found this as a special lot being sold at our local liquor store here in northern Finland. Great taste and makes a fab GT. Strongly recommend this 😊

A wonderfully different gin to all the others!

Absolutely delicious! We drink it with Elderflower Fevertree and it is fabulous. We have bought a bottle of the Santa Ana and can't wait to try it!

A Gin for all seasons !

I had a bottle for Christmas and had to buy another! Drink it in winter with Fevertree Clementine Tonic and in summer with Mediterranean Tonic. Amongst the new releases of gin this is a star ! The taste and scent of seaweed is a hint that conjures up the sea in all seasons. We drink it in Surrey and Dorset, looking out at Lulworth Cove.

Sublime, if they didn’t ship it I’d make the journey to get it.

Absolutely gorgeous gin, it says maritime on the bottle and after the first sip your litteraly sitting on a beach in Donegal with the waves smashing off your feet. The tastes are smooth and recognisable, it’s a journey that has perfect balance. It made the best G&T I’ve ever had.

Awesome gin - the wild North West coast of Ireland in a glass!!!!

Absolutely stunning gin - the seaweed notes are easily tasted but without being overpowering - makes a fab G and T
If you're ever over in Donegal go to the distillery for a tour - super friendly people - try their blended Irish Whiskey too - Silkie
