The folks behind Shooters Gin have tried something a bit out of the ordinary here with Ant Gin. It features a selection of botanicals along the lines of juniper, angelica, coriander, liquorice, Granny Smith apples, lemon, orange, clementine, red grapefruit and... Ants. You all saw it coming. You read the name of this gin. Yes, edible black ants are added to the distillation, with the formic acid helping to develop its citrus-forward flavour profile.
