Part of the Hallmark Navy Strength Gin range from the Sheffield Distillery, this edition pays tribute to its hometown with some cleverly selected botanicals. Liquorice root is used as a nod to Trebor Bassett's Liquorice Allsorts, which were created in Sheffield, alongside orange and lemon peels to represent St. Clement – one of the city's patron saints. Bottled up at a hearty 61.5% ABV, this will do very nicely for a sturdy G&T, and some boldening gin cocktails.
A complex balance of sweet, delicate florals and bold, herbal spice. Anise and liquorice sit beside solid juniper lifted by a whiff of fennel, sweet citrus and a prickle of pepper.
