A classic English sloe gin from the Sacred microdistillery. This organic bottling was distilled with pinch of extra juniper for a fabulously rich, spicy expression that is simply teaming with all the flavours you've come to expect from an exemplary sloe gin.
I had very high hopes for it after tasting their old tom gin but it just wasn't for me. It had notes of liquorice and a few other things that didn't really work together. The only other sloe gins I can compare it to ar emy homemade one and the Njord slow sloe. Compared to those, it didn't have any of that distinct sloe taste. It's not sweet enough and the different taste elements create a weird gin without any of the classic sloe taste.
Best sloe on the market hands down!
