The guys at the Sacred Spirits Company have created this festive themed (and slightly insane)gin. They've taken high quality English grain spirit and infused an 8kg Christmas pudding in it for two months, before re-distilling it to produce a transparent, Christmas pudding flavoured gin. Mad, but we love it!
An aroma of juniper and dried fruits entices the nose, followed by a real Christmas pudding flavour on the palate with even a suggestion of the texture too (although this might be perceived by association). The finish is long and creamy with further notes of dried currants and spice.

This is a really nice gin, not the strongest of botanicals but still very pleasant. However, I could not taste any Christmas pudding at all. We tasted with a group of friends and we all liked the gin but found no Christmas Pudding. We tried it from the freezer, neat, then at room temp, then with tonic but I think it might have been stored next to a pudding rather than distilled with some. Overall, I say stick to the normal sacred gin.
