Tudor Gin is made by the Portsmouth Distillery using a selection of botanicals that were found on the Mary Rose, Henry VIII's flagship that sank in 1545 but was raised in 1982 and now spends its time at the Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth. The botanicals include cherry, hemp seeds, hazelnut and dandelion. For each bottle of this expression the distillery sells, they make a donation to the Mary Rose Trust.
Softly fruity, thought the juniper jumps out with peppery bite and a hint of nuttiness.

After first trying their Fort gin which is very good i bought a bottle of the Tudor gin which i absolutely love and is overall probably my favourite gin to have in a G&T. The botanicals work so well together.
Ordered this as a present for my wife who loves Tudor history, not expecting too much of the gin itself but we ending up loving it - would highly recommend and will buy again
