Drookit Piper Gin hails from Pixel Spirits Distillery in the Scottish Highlands, founded by husband and wife duo Craig and Noru Innes. Botanicals include pomelo, orange and Makrut lime leaves. Less than 80 bottles are produced per batch, and each is individually numbered. The name comes from the Scottish word 'drookit', which means extremely wet, or drenched. That explains the rather sorry-looking piper in the rain on the label.
Citrus forward, with sweet orange peel and zesty lime, with a floral undertone and fragrant lime.

10/10 if you are looking for a summery sweet zesty flavoured gin which suits lemonade in a tall glass with ice and a slice, perfectly. Great value and worth having on the shelf for those rare warm outdoor evenings.
