Pixel Spirits, situated within the picturesque surroundings of Loch Leven Hotel in North Ballachulish, West Highlands, stands as a testament to the power of passion, dedication, and family effort. Established by Craig and Noru Innes, the distillery has transformed a conventional A-frame barn into a hub of hand-crafted spirit production, thanks to collective hard work from friends and family.
Specialising in authentic Scottish gin and rum, Pixel Spirits encapsulates a meticulous attention to detail. The distillery runs on two key stills, with capacities of 100 litres and 500 litres. These were carefully chosen in collaboration with i-still, a brand committed to innovation and quality in spirit production. Every bottle produced is a manifestation of dedication, with some even being numbered and autographed by the Master Distiller, Craig.
Pixel's commitment to authenticity and quality is evident. Their spirits, devoid of artificial additives, sugar, or colouring, are crafted to retain their robust flavours even when mixed. A painstaking manual process ensures that fruit peels used are thin and devoid of the bitter pith. All dehydration processes are carried out in-house, guaranteeing optimal quality.
The commitment to excellence hasn't gone unnoticed. Pixel Spirits has received numerous accolades, including silver medals at the International Wine & Spirit Competition for both taste and design, and gold and silver awards at the World Gin Awards for their Contemporary and Classic Gin categories. They've also clinched a bronze at the London Spirits Competition for taste. With such recognition, it's clear that Pixel Spirits embodies hand-crafted quality in the world of spirits.
