One of a pair of gins from the Orkney Gin Company inspired by the island - this one takes inspiration from the Mikkel Feast, which was traditionally celebrated from the 29th of September to the 12th of October.
Oily juniper develops spicy, peppery notes, leading into subtle vanilla-y creaminess.
A very surprising gin - spiced as expected but also has lovely orange zestyness and a silky mouth this could also be one of the the smoothest gins to have passed my lips and there has been a few! Tasted neat and with BTW tonic 1 part gin to 2 of tonic.
Superb with ginger ale and lime.
I love this gin. Amazing flavours leaves a tingle on your tongue.
