Sweet juniper, nods towards zesty citrus peels, white flowers and a touch of heather.
So many gins from all price ranges taste very similar, this gin does not! Very floral but with a complexity and background spice and a subtle sweetness, the nose is divine! This really is worth trying, and deserves the excellent reviews.
Whilst on a stay to John o Groats this was recommended at a local bistro; we tried Johnsmas and the winter version. Both gins have originality by the bucket load but a very obvious juniper depth and are super smooth.
Tried this for the first time and not disappointed was sceptical as I don’t like a dry gin I would recommend 100%
Very floral but not too sweet. Complex with a nice bitter finish which keeps you coming back for more. Mix with any good tonic (within reason flavour-wise)! Doesn't need any citrus etc. added. On my third bottle now and I think it is the best of all the floral gins I have tasted.
Bought it as a present for my partner after reading reviews. Not disappointed at all. This is a top notch gin
