The annual Distiller's Cut series from Monkey 47 began in 2011, and it's still going strong! Each year the German gin maestros embark on an adventure in search of an exciting botanical to add to the bustling, but incredibly well-balanced classic recipe of 47, so technically, you could call these editions Monkey 48? 2023 saw the team set off to Canada to source the finest maple syrup, imparting delicately sweet hints of caramel to the complex, softly spicy dry gin.
