Kokoro Gin is a London dry gin made with a selection of botanicals that includes fresh Sansho berries, which are popular in Japanese cuisine.
Sweet though peppery juniper, leading into the subtle spice and citrus-y notes of the Sansho berry. A hint of orange pith develops a little later on.
Love this gin. Bought for all friends and family this Christmas. Stylish bottle and awesome taste. The unusual sansho berries make this gin stand out in a crowded market.
Overpriced and overrated dishwater
I have always enjoyed what I thought was a good Gin & Tonic by that I mean the usual green bottle of gin you grab in the supermarket. I was gifted a bottle of Kokoro Gin and must say I feel I have cheated myself for years by drinking an exceedingly poor cousin to this exquisite gin. I am absolutely sold and will never look back.
One of the nicest gins I've tried. Very smooth with a slice of Lemon. Having tried sansho berries, the gin really brings out their flavour
A beautiful gin, great to experiment with as it's so versatile. I love it with light tonic, fresh ginger and lemon peel. I equally love it neat over ice. A staple for your booze cabinet.
