House of Elrick Gin comes to us from Aberdeen, featuring a selection of botanicals including juniper, coriander, citrus, angelica, pink peppercorn, sweet fennel, heather and rose petals. Not only that, it's made with fresh water drawn from Loch Ness!

I really wanted to like this gin as it is beautifully marketed and harks to my homeland. I found the taste overpowering and did not enjoy it as a G&T. Sadly I think this is another contract distilled gin jumping on the band wagon and trying to use brand Scotland to make sales. Not convinced it has been anywhere near Aberdeen and using bottled water from Loch Ness Water Ltd ® when there is delicious water local to Elrick is insulting to the locals.
The most enjoyable gin I have ever had.
