Richly perfumed (as you might expect from the name). Subtle sweetness of honey and almond. Soft rye spiciness.
Vanilla, rose petal jam, rounded juniper and light hints of redcurrant.
Delicately floral on the finish, supported by more vanilla and nutty chocolate.
I too got this for my birthday in August and have to say it's up there in my top 5 next to Eden mill Love gin , Brecon, Rangpur and Tanquery Ten
My daughter Heather told me of this gin. A friend and I tasted it yesterday for the first time at Fonab Castle Hotel in Pitlochry. We both Loved it's smooth and interesting taste, so have just ordered two bottles. One for me and one to give my daughter on her wedding day on Sunday.
