Produced in the French region of Cognac, G'Vine is a hint as to what this unique gin contains. It's actually infused with Ugni Blanc grape, as well as some more standard botanicals including ginger root, liquorice, cardamom, cassia bark, coriander, cubeb berries, nutmeg, lime and even a bit of juniper.
Nose: Doesn't immediately smell like a gin... the grape notes are prevalent, but there are balancing notes of citrus and cardamom.
Palate: The grapes run the show here too. It's tasty with pronounced, fresh botanicals, particularly the high, citric and ginger notes. The grapes add a pleasant sweetness. It's almost like a flavoured vodka.
Finish: Very clean, very pleasant. Herbs and grassy notes with a slight mineral taste.
Overall: Almost halfway between a gin and a flavoured vodka, this is a unique spirit. We could (and probably will!) spend hours playing around with cocktail recipes using G'Vine.

Make mine a martini with frozen lime juice ice cubes (day freshly squeezed) on a hot summer Sydney afternoon. It is definitely not a flavoured vodka style. Sexy, yes after the first couple of sips pass the lips. Not a butch gin the green bottle, deserves sipping.

Had this is Barcelona and quickly became my favorite. Best served with Fentiman's tonic, a couple of sliced and gently squeezed white/green grapes, and one lime peel, twisted. Nothing is more refreshing.

Probably the best gin I've had. Excellent when garnished with a few sliced grapes, really brings out the sweet grape taste.

Totally delightful! Delicate & Floral with gorgeous fruity aftertaste - try with muddled grapes & raspberries, a shot of Chambord & Fentimans Tonic - South of France in a glass!! Cheers!

Having been on a recent mission to try as many Gins as possible, this one is by far my favourite. Smooth and without the perfumey type aroma that some cheaper gins have. Excellent in my humble opinion.
