Forest Gin Earl Grey Bottling Note

From the The Forest Distillery in The Peak District comes only the second product it has ever produced, that uses the already successful Forest Gin as its base.

With botanicals sourced from the local forest and ground by hand in a pestle & mortar, this tea-influenced gin was distilled just once in the tiny 30 litre pot still at The Forest Distillery. At this point, a blend of Earl Grey Tea from Cheshire blenders Quinteassential was added, along with spring water from the Peak District.

A must for Earl Grey Tea fans!
Stunning bergamot notes at the front of the palate rounding out into intense juniper and refreshing black tea, all served in a beautifully decorated corked bottle.

Best gin
Me and my wife tried it in Buxton few months back and we couldn’t find it anywhere to buy it but we discovered this small shop in Edale Peak District called Cooper’s Rural Merchants and they sell craft gin and whisky from small independent distillery’s I can’t wait to give it to her for her birthday.

The BEST yet
Unbelievable!!

If you like the original Forest Gin, then you MUST try this. Incredible amber colored liquid with rich oolong and bergamot flavours.

This is possibly the best gin available just now, and Master of Malt are at a great price x

Lovely.
It is very unusual but lovely. Its a golden amber colour with a light, smokey Earl Grey like flavour. For me it's a gin for sipping neat, rather than a long drink with tonic. Give a try - you may be pleasantly surprised!
