Dunnet Bay distillery (maker of the much loved Rock Rose Gin range) took inspiration from the Moorland Tea that Robert Burns is reputed to have enjoyed when creating this herbaceous gin. Botanicals include the likes of bilberry and strawberry leaves, heather tops, speedwell, and wild thyme which all feature in the original Moorland Tea recipe, resulting in a herbal, citrus-forward profile that ought to shine in a classic G&T, garnished with a slice of lemon or orange.
Zesty notes of lemon peels and crisp juniper are joined by vibrant helpings of fresh and dried herbs, and hints of floral tea.
