The Dancing Sands distillers in New Zealand have added yet another intruing gin to the collection - Chocolate Gin! Made in collaboration with Wellington's C.G.R. Merchant and Co. cocktail bar, Dancing Sands Chocolate Gin is infused with cocoa husks as well as rooibos tea and a selection of more traditional gin botanicals, resulting in a flavour profile that hits those familiar chocolatey notes without being overly sweet and cloying.
Earthy juniper and cardamom as it opens, with drying dark chocolate richness developing soon after. Herbaceous and almost honeyed at points.
Lovely gin, with a hint of chocolate, great smell.
