Corner 53 Cherokee Gin

A rather sweet, vanilla-forward gin produced by Corner 53 in the South Downs, made with a combination of Canadian maple syrup (certainly not a botanical you see every day!), orange, sarsaparilla and other gin botanicals. We'll be interested to see the concoctions you lot are able to create with this one.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Brown sugar, fresh juniper, a flash of fizzy orange.

Reviews for Corner 53 Cherokee Gin
Something really different but really good.
First tried this in a bar in Richmond where apparently one of the distillers actually works, my wife tried it as a G&T as the serve with strawberries looked really nice and with elderflower tonic it was delicious. I then tried it as the bars signature old fashioned, made with maple syrup instead of brown sugar, and again blown away. Totally different flavour profile to as a G&T but all the flavours you want from an old fashioned without the weight and the heat. Lovely sweet flavours without being sugary or cloying like a lot of flavoured gins using sweeter botanicals, actually very light, and you can really taste the maple, and lots of orange as well...
After this we have to try the full range.
