From the team behind Wild Knight Vodka comes Boadicea Gin. The spirit itself is made from barley grown in Norfolk, while the botanicals used include juniper, citrus and nettle. The name comes from the queen of the British Celtic Iceni tribe, Boadicea.
Bright lemon and grapefruit, soft vanilla and a few bursts of earthy juniper.
Absolutely loved this refreshing gin! Delicious sipped just on ice or with tonic.
With the botanicals in Boadicea Gin being suspended over the still instead of in the liquid, the herbs properties and flavours come through wonderfully. With a nod to the ancient Iceni, this gin contains nettle, different types of lemon thyme and orange peel along with the traditional London Dry recipe. It's definitely one of my new favourite gin. I couldn't recommend it highly enough!
