A traditionally-styled gin from Belgin, with 50 - yes, 50! - botanicals, inspired by Belgian Abbey herb gardens. St. Cruyt Gin is named after the old Flemish word for herb, and embodies centuries of herb cultivation at Belgian monasteries. All 50 botanicals used in the tipple are kept a close guarded secret, so we guess you'll just have to sip it to find out!
Both floral and fruity, with berry notes, alongside complex citrus and juniper spice. A herbaceous gin, with rosemary, sage and thyme all making appearances.
I was impressed with this and it's a good price for 50ml at below £30. I serve with a light tonic and lime and sage. Good flavours.
Stunning complex gin that I was introduced to a couple of weeks ago. If you love Monkey and Bathtub, you really need to give this a blast and it's absolutely banging with lightly flavoured tonics and pink grapefruit as a garnish.
It is such a shame that this is sold out; I was recently given this as a gift and it is just not like any other gin I have tasted!! It is so complex and unusual. I will buy another Belgin and be content with that until it is in stock again
