Beefeater Bottling Note

Beefeater London Dry Gin was first made in 1820 by James Burroughs. It is still, to this day, made to the same recipe. Great in a martini, this is a spiced, fruity gin.

Beefeater London Dry Gin Reviews

Good stuff, inexpensive but well flavoured

Fresh and powerful without blasting your feet off, I found it a little too easy to drink owning to its lightness when mixed.
You still taste it but it goes down really easily with a mixer. If you need something unpretentious to introduce you to gin, try this.

Brilliant basic gin, simple as.

Listen to top reviews for this. I'ts a lovely gin. It does dry/citrus better than any other £20 plus gin easily. The price it goes for is A STEAL!. Get it in your gin selection as a base foundation when you tire of the botanical overload of others. Add lemon or lime or both and a quality tonic. Simple's!

That's good enough for me

I had a late friend who was a professional gin taster. She would have no gin in the house but Beefeater.

No better than supermarket gin

A pleasant gin for G and T but nothing remarkable about it.

Underrated

Underrated, a top quality gin.

Great basic gin.

A great staple for the cocktail cabinet. Not over priced. Good flavour.

Fantastic gin

The Orange and Strawberry Gin tastes gorgeous, I have always drunk whisky but Gin is becoming a favourite to drink now.

ORIGINAL LONGON DRY.

For the real mens gin & tonic! Cant go wrong I have tried lots of Gin from coloured ones to high ABV to fancy boutique ones and new age I personally will only stick to BEEFEATERS

Beefeater Mmm Mmm and thrice Mmm

I have no clue about botanics, citrus and mixers but gin makes me drunk and Beefeater is great when its straight yeah (to quote Black Grape's 1995 opus) so 5 Stars and a thumbs up.

Excelente Ginebra, aunque las que he comprado son de 47 Grados de Alcohol y el sabor es mucho mejor y mas para un Dry Martini.

The Best by far!

Awesome!

The Basic Dry Gin

We use Beefeater as the basic London Dry against which to compare more premium brands. It is a good gin. It makes a decent G&T, and a passable martini. It is uncomplicated. Nothing very exciting going on with the flavour and you're not going to choose it over Berry No. 3 for G&T for example. But a staple for any drinks cabinet. And if you prefer it to the premium brand against which you're testing... you're going to save a fortune :-)

Buen gin

Es bueno, muy bueno, igual que el Bombay Saphire. Cuestión de gustos, pero ambos son muy buenos, del mismo nivel. 8/10

An excellent all-rounder

Smooth, well-integrated botanicals. The juniper is there, but it's not overpowering and balanced well by the citrus flavours. My favourite for a Martini.

Excellent basic gin.

This came out surprisingly well in a blind tasting I did with friends, by far the best of the big brand names. Juniper smell is distinctive but not overwhelming, taste is slightly fruity, clean and overall very pleasant.

Subtle, clear, refreshing

A bit subtler than Gordon's, and arguably a little more floral/fruity. Good choice for gin-heavy cocktails such as a Martini.
