This is the most neutral smell & taste I've come across so far, would be great in fruit fwd cocktails. However Rye vdks have more character for spirit fwd cocktails. Vague rubbing alcohol taste when drunk neat, black pepper finish I get & no hint of burn. Zero carbon footprint process is a plus to brag about.
A taste of Borganes, a town in the West of Iceland, not unlike the 'terroir' of French wines. Icelandic water is so pure, maybe this is what makes Reyka vodka so smooth. Purchased for a weekend with my Icelandic family, this vodka is irresistible. Drink neat so as not to spoil it.
Bought on strength of the reviews on website and was not disappointed by it, so smooth and good value
This vodka is so smooth and refreshing. I I simply put it in the freezer and have it neat. I usually prefer vodka with mixers or in a cocktail and drink whiskey straight but this is just so wonderful straight, it feels a shame to mix it.
I typically only drink vodka in a martini, but this tasted unpleasantly earthy and (given that vodka is generally a very neutral spirit) had me questioning whether the makers of my favourite vermouth had messed around with their recipe (fortunately they hadn't, as I discovered when I used Ciroc vodka instead).
