Puddingstone Distillery, nestled in the picturesque Hertfordshire countryside, is the brainchild of founders Ben and Kate Marston. Launched in 2016, it’s a gin brand that reflects its creator’s passion for both outdoor adventures and high-quality spirits.
The distillery's flagship product, Campfire Gin, is a testament to this, made with botanicals that not only capture the essence of the English countryside but also give a nod to far-flung adventures. While the gin carries the familiar notes of juniper, it also surprises the palate with hints of rooibos, fresh citrus, and a dash of exotic spices. There’s also the more rich and robust Campfire Cask Aged Gin to enjoy or the refreshing Campfire Navy Strength, and Puddingstone Distillery offers tours to educate visitors about the intricate process of gin-making.
The brand is also eco-conscious, for example using a bottle that is made from 40% recycled glass and labels printed just eight miles from the distillery. Puddingstone Distillery has also chosen Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust as its main charity partner, the managers of the reservoirs and land around the distillery. Each year a special gin is produced for them with £2 from every bottle sold going to the Trust.
