Martin Miller’s London Dry was launched in 1999, launched around a decade ahead of the gin boom. Martin Miller quested to create a seductive gin so good that it would rejuvenate the market, experimenting with different combinations and proportions of botanicals. The gin is distilled at Langley’s distillery in the west midlands using traditional methods, with the help of the beloved copper pot still named ‘Angela’.
Once the distillation is over, slightly absurdly, the gin is then taken on a 3,000 mile round trip to Iceland to be blended with some of the world’s purest water. Sadly, Martin Miller passed away in 2013, though he left behind him a heritage that will long be remembered.
