The winner of the Best XO Cognac title at the World Cognac Awards 2017, ABK6 XO Renaissance is another sublime offering from the innovative Cognac house that was bottled in a stylish carafe, which itself is housed in a beautiful presentation box.
Candied fruit, dried figs and warming spice initially, before rich tobacco notes break through a balanced acidity in this complex XO Cognac.
This cognac does have interesting complexity, but it’s missing the fullness needed to me great lol n my book. I am a Hennessey XO indulger and was looking for something comparable. ABK6 Renaissance came close but lacked the viscosity and fullness of the Hennessey. I will give this brand 4 stars based on the presence of the complex flavors and notes on did you do experience while enjoying this very fine cognac.

Excellent Cognac, really enjoyed and the presentation is excellent.
Heavy cedar notes. Not as smooth as I would have liked. Opened up a bit after about an hour in the glass. Would not buy again.
