Perrier-Jouët 2013

This is the 2013 vintage of Perrier-Jouët's exceptional Belle Epoque Champagne, once again made using Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and a helping of Pinot Meunier grapes too. The bottle is adorned with a design that features Japanese white anemones, created by Emile Gallé back in 1902 for the very first vintage of this tremendous expression.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Fresh green apple, vanilla blossom, a hint of candied citrus peels, very subtly buttery.

I've been really good, can I have

Reviews for Perrier-Jouët 2013 Belle Epoque
Very acidic
I really loved the 2012 vintage - it was light, floral, soft and balanced. The 2013 was much more acidic and disappointing by comparison. For this price you expect a minimum standard - I could have found much more drinkable champagne for half this price.
