2012 was an excellent year in the Champagne region. This is made from a blend of 52% pinot noir and 48% chardonnay grown only in grand and premier cru vineyards.After fermentation and blending it was aged for over 10 years so you're getting one beautifully mature Champagne replete with mature biscuity notes. What a treat, and at a very good price too.
Ripe fruit such as peaches and oranges with subtle bready notes. On the palate there's stone fruit, honey, sweet spices and almonds.
