Lanson has been the official Champagne of Wimbledon since 1977 (when Virginia Wade won the Women's Singles). Every year over 150,000 glasses of the brand's famous Black Label are served to tennis lovers from around the world.
Lansons' flogship cuvee is made from 35% Chardonnay, 50% Pinot Noir and 15% Pinot Meunier. They make it with between 40 and 50 crus which are blended together to create a consistent product. Lanson do not use malolactic fermentation giving the wine an crisp, appley flavour.
