The Groult family has been producing its well renowned Calvados for five generations – since back in 1860! In this time, the family developed a skill for creating perpetual blends that is still practiced today. Here we have Réserve Ancestrale, a blend of very old Calvados from the Groult reserves - the ageing cellars house a collection of 12,000 litre oak barrels, so you can be sure of some historic and very well-aged liquid right here.
Baked, spiced apples, rich and tangy with a note of sweet baking spice and bold, oily oak.
