
Boulard Grand Solage is a sweet, rich Calvados made with cider that has been double-distilled. The eaux-de-vie used in the Grand Solage ranges between 2 to 5 year old. The Boulard Calvados company has been passed down the Boulard family for generations since 1825.
Freshly baked bread, aromatic oak and apples. Lots and lots of sweet apples.
Soft vanilla and and freshly cut green apple slices.
The vibrant fruit sweetness remains for a good while afterwards.

Pretty good for a basic burner. Strong, frank flavour of apples. Nothing artificial or unpleasant tasting. No great complexity, but I feel like I could fight the Romans after it.
