An aged cachaça from Avuá, Jequita Rosa is sourced from the hills of Carmo in Rio de Janeiro. It's aged for up to two years in a single jequitiba rosa cask, which is a dense and dark hardwood only found in central and southern Brazil. The spirit is part of a series of native wood experiments from the brand, and it is fittingly presented in a striking pink bottle, complete with handsome stopper.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Light, fruity notes of banana and mango, balanced with a delicate smokiness, hint of spice and slightly bitter mineral finish.
