Blending requires great skill, spirits producers use it to combine various vintages and expressions to create their desired profile in the same way that artists blend paints to mix their perfect colour pallette. So, it seems a good fit that this edition of 1866 Solera Gran Reserva Spanish brandy is a collab with Swedish artist Emma Lindström. Taking inspiration from the rich hue of the brandy, Lindström has used her signature style of "pouring" or fluid art to create limited edition labels and packaging.
Buttery at first, with notes of vanilla ice cream, milk chocolate and sultana following shortly after. Diced nuts, cedar and a touch of cinnamon develop later on.
