The Silver Circle Distillery in Wales has gone and made its own version of the Negroni, with a fruit-forward twist to it – behold, the Damson Negroni! Wye Valley Gin is infused with ripe damsons, and combined with a secret blend of vermouths and the all-important Italian aperitif, creating a brilliant balance of bitterness and sweetness that the cocktail is known for perfecting, with the addition of a tangy touch of red fruit. It's all mixed and ready to serve – the only thing you have to do is pour a measure over ice, garnish with a hearty slice of fresh orange peel, and enjoy!
Strong juniper, bittersweet herbs, juicy damson sweetness leading into familiar orange oil notes, a flash of coriander spiciness.
