From the Mac & Wild folks up in Scotland comes a wonderful pre-bottled cocktail, The Dundee Sour! It's inspired by a traditional Dundee cake, which is basically a Scottish fruit cake. The cocktail takes a base of Blackwoods gin, infused with apricot and spices, the flavours of a Dundee cake. Simply pour over ice, or shake with a dash of lemon juice and then strain.
Jammy apricot sweetness, leading into a touch of citrus peel, warming spices and peppery juniper on the finish.
This is quite simply the best cocktail ever. Hard to describe but it is absolutely delicious- lots of ice and don’t skip the lemon juice
