Each Darkness whisky is finished for at least three months in hand-coopered, sherry-seasoned octave casks. Smaller casks bring whisky and oak into closer contact, intensifying flavour, richness and natural colour.

The signature Darkness single malt. Matured in ex-bourbon barrels before a finish in oloroso-sherry octave casks, developing notes of candied orange, dried cherry, amaretti, raisin and warming spice, with lingering chocolate and a subtle wisp of smoke.
